Halima – a real warrior, healing trauma and winning the battle of hardship in a joyful environment
“I feel good here (learning centre), and I enjoy learning with play. I don’t want to stay alone in the house because it reminds me bad days in Myanmar.” said Halima, who have seen her father’s brutal death by Burmese Mong (priest) group one year and six months ago. “I love to learn Burmese language here if I returned to Myanmar I could use it. We had a nice house with a garden in my village where I used to play. Here in the learning centre I am winning my pain away through play”, says Halima.
