UNICEF-BRL-0467-0479 Prya Barua (18), a volunteer with the Adolescent Radio Listener Group gathers women, children and community members on the day of broadcast so they can tune in to the special program for Rohingya Refugees and the host community. Special programs are broadcast four days each week. UNICEF partners with local radio to produce weekly shows and public service announcements that share lifesaving messages about services such as vaccination campaigns. UNICEF distributed 2,000 radios to reach 67,200 refugees in 2018. UNICEF and partners are placing a special focus on adolescents.
