UNICEF-BRL-0506-0516 Alfa Khatun, Anwara Begum and Arafa Khatun listen to UNICEF supported radio programmes. Sometimes they listen to the radio during leisure time for entertainment on special broadcast days for Rohingya Refugees and host community members. UNICEF partners with local radio to produce weekly shows and public service announcements that share lifesaving messages about services such as vaccination campaigns. UNICEF distributed 2,000 radios to reach 67,200 refugees in 2018. UNICEF and partners are placing a special focus on adolescents.
