UNICEF- AFS -0095-0097 Jannatul Ferdous (16), member of Adolescent Friendly Space, smiles for a photo. We come here regularly even though it is far because we learn about important issues like child marriage, trafficking, sexual harassment and other new things at the adolescent club. Adolescent girls face many challenges in the camps. Their movements are often restricted and so the Adolescent Friendly Spaces provide a recreational space where adolescent girls can learn important life skills to protect themselves and they can find out how to access services inside the camps. In 2018, UNICEF supported 60 Adolescent Friendly Spaces and 220 Adolescent Clubs in the Rohingya refugee camps. Through these facilities, UNICEF reached 40,000 adolescents with a range of protection services and learning opportunities. Baharchora, Shamlapur Makeshift Settlement, Teknaf, Cox’s Bazar.
