Jannatul Noor, 11, is the eldest daughter in a family of five. Her mother, Ramjana, looks after her and the rest of the children, Junayed, 8; Shayef, 5; Ubayet, 3; as well as her husband Rashik Ahmad (not in the picture), who was assaulted and left severely injured by the Burmese military before their escape to Bangladesh. Their home has been partially damaged by landslide during the recent spate of heavy monsoon rains. Even now, when it rains, the entire family is trapped inside their tiny shelter. They cannot go outside to the latrines and bathing cubicles, cannot go to the market place or food distribution points. Ramjana now lives in constant fear of losing their shelter altogether in case the ongoing monsoon rain triggers more landslides, as her husband is not strong enough to relocate their shelter elsewhere.
